ahhh very smooth bluesy jazz sound. Nice mellow chill song. Love those drums, they sound good!! are they real?? Nice moody guitar lick too  Good job john. you suer have a variety of styles in your music. never know what you are goona turn out next. nice track here though,, indeed!

Thanks Jen,The drums are real takes but edited around to introduce some 'fills' that one could expect a drummer to do. Not overboard-wise though.I also used 2 reverbs on the drum track to 'put' the drums in a realistic 'room' instead of being super dry, which is all to common when using samples of drums.The Bass and Guiter were played 'real' time and each in one 'take' with no edits.I went for feel here, the intent was not to make a pop song but simply a piece you can put your feet up to, close your eyes, and be carried away!

This is great! As always, the guitar kicks ass. But the other parts are great, too. The bass sounds good, I'd bump it up in the mix a bit in parts, sounds like it could maybe use a little compression or something as well. OTOH, I really appreciate the freeflowing vibe, I like that most of the stuff was played "live". Fantastic!
I like the reverb technique on the drums, though at 128kbps it's kind of hard to hear it. But the drums have nice depth, I may have to try this technique sometime Sometimes I'll put some reverb or delay on specific drum parts, but I don't think I've tried that on entire kit.

Nice guitar work - has a really effortless feel! 
Great mix - everything stands out & you can feel the bass! 
Great Groove - Very Professional start to finish.
